Motivated and Entrepreneurial Youth Graduation Ceremony held in Chirumanzu District
#Highlights of the Motivated and Entrepreneurial Youth Graduation Ceremony held at our Chirumamzu District office yesterday.
59 entrepreneurs graduated after undergoing an intensive 6 months training on Motivation, Health and Entrepreneurship.
Various stakeholders from Government, National Aids Council (NAC), Midlands Aids Service Organisation (MASO), Civic Society and educationists graced the occasion.
In her speech during the ceremony Hand in Hand Zimbabwe Chirumanzu Area Manager Hazel Mhembere urged the graduates to use the knowledge acquired from the trainings in their communities for sustainable development.
The Hand in Hand Zimbabwe MEY project contributes to sustainable development in the country through improving health awareness, motivating the youth to believe in themselves and providing entrepreneurial skills among students (13-18 yrs) and young adults (18-35 years) who are out of school.
The project plays a key role in the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal SDG (1) on No Poverty, SDG (3) on Good Health and well-being and SDG (8) on Decent work and economic growth.
